Privacy notice
How Membula handles your data.
This notice covers catchline-gu.membula.io (the English and Gujarati pages), the Catchline demo line, and the marketing we send to dental clinics. Last updated 6 October 2026.
Who we are
Membula Ltd (Company No. 16931143), 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary for everything on this page. Contact and complaints: chirag@membula.io. In the UK we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZC217148.
1. When we contact your clinic
We write to dental clinics we think Catchline could help. We use the clinic’s business contact details only.
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| What we hold | Clinic name, address, the clinic’s general email or phone, opening hours, and where published, the name and role of the doctor or manager. |
| Where it comes from | Information the clinic has published itself: the clinic’s website, its Google business profile and public directories. |
| Why | To tell you about a service built for clinics like yours. We use only contact details the clinic has published itself, and we don’t do unsolicited marketing by phone or SMS. |
| How long | Up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted. If you opt out, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so we never contact you again. |
| Your choice | Every email has an unsubscribe link, or use this page. We act on it straight away. |
2. The demo line on this page
The “Ring the demo line” button starts a voice conversation with an automated assistant for a fictional clinic, Kesarvan Dental Clinic, so you can hear how Catchline sounds. By calling, you agree to the recording described below.
- What is collected: the audio of the call and a transcript, plus a short automated note of whether the caller asked about Catchline itself. No account, name or phone number is needed to use it.
- Who processes it: ElevenLabs, Inc. (our voice provider), as our Data Processor under its data processing agreement. Processing may take place outside India.
- Why: to check the demo is working well and improve it.
- How long: recordings and transcripts are deleted after 30 days. To have yours deleted sooner, email chirag@membula.io.
- Please don’t give real health details on the demo line. It is a demonstration, not a clinic.
3. If you ask us to start or book a call
When you fill in the start form, or book a call through Calendly, we use what you give us (clinic, your name, role, email, phone, phone company and any notes) to set up your line, send the data processing agreement and invoice, and answer your questions. You give consent for this by sending the form. Calendly processes booking details under its own privacy notice. We keep enquiry details for 12 months if you don’t go ahead, and for the life of the contract and then as long as the law requires if you do.
4. If you become a Catchline customer
Your callers’ details (names, numbers, the reason they rang) belong to your clinic. Under the DPDP Act you are the Data Fiduciary, and Membula is your Data Processor under a written data processing agreement that names every sub-processor and the retention periods. This notice does not cover that data; your clinic’s own privacy notice does.
5. This website
We set no cookies and run no advertising or tracking scripts. Our server keeps a daily count of visits and which email batch they came from, with no personal data. Your browser keeps three small items on your device only: whether you have seen the intro animation, the page language you chose, and how many demo calls this device has made today, so one device can’t use up the demo line. They never leave your device. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it serves them.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask for information about your data, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw consent you have given, and complain. Email chirag@membula.io; we reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. We’d rather you told us first so we can put it right.
7. Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
